Halle Berry buys $1.5m cottage in Quebec

Actress wants to escape from hustle and bustle of LA

Halle Berry gave birth to Nahla in March

Halle Berry is planning to move to Canada when she finishes shooting her latest movie Frankie And Alice.

The 42-year-old actress is currently based in LA with partner Gabriel Aubry, 32, and their 7-month-old Nahla.

But the couple want to bring their daughter up in a more rural environment and have bought a $1.5 million cottage on a gated estate in St Hippolyte, just north of Montreal.

‘[Gabriel] always dreamed of owning a house in the area,’ an insider tells In Touch.

‘Gabriel and Halle both want baby Nahla to have the best childhood possible.’

The 3-bed home has mountain views and is surrounded by 68 acres of forest.
