Sinitta helps mentor Simon Cowell's acts on The X Factor

Sinitta has revealed that former boyfriend and best mate Simon Cowell is a tower of strength to her.

The 80s singer turned to The X Factor judge after her husband Andy Willner moved to Hong Kong earlier this year for work.

‘[Simon] has been truly amazing,’ she tells the Daily Mirror. ‘I don’t know what I would have done without him.’

Sinitta, 40, also revealed that Simon, 49, is a devoted godfather to her 2 adopted children.

‘He rings them all the time and does funny voices,’ she says. ‘It’s so touching the way he is with them.’
