Catherine Zeta-Jones has revealed that she started partying before she even hit her teens.

The actress grew up in Wales and she says her parents were really laid back.

‘My family were great so I didn’t really need to rebel,’ she says.

‘I was allowed to go clubbing when I was 12 because I looked about 22. They were cool about a lot of things.’

But Catherine, 39, insists that even though she attended a private school, she didn’t have a privileged upbringing.

‘I wasn’t really posh,’ she tells OK!. ‘I didn’t lead a charmed middle-class life. We were sort of working class made good.’

Catherine is married to actor Michael Douglas and they have 2 children, Carys, 5, and Dylan, 8.
