Pete Wentz: Eyeliner made me look like I'd been punched

Fall Out Boy star thinks he's better without it

Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson are expecting their first child together

Pete Wentz has vowed not to wear eye make-up anymore.

The Fall Out Boy star, who is married to singer Ashlee Simpson, 24, reckons it does nothing for him.

‘What people have not realised is the eyeliner has now gone,' he says. 'It became too expected. I like the way my eyes look now.

'I felt I looked too injured and tired and like I’d been punched. Now I look awake.’

But Pete, 29, hasn’t given up all of his grooming habits.

‘I do like to trim my armpit hair though,’ he tells The Sun. ‘I like to be streamline when I’m going through airports.

'I couldn’t shave my head though. In my passport photo I look like I am carrying a bomb.’
