Opera star says she'd never throw a tantrum

Katherine Jenkins is currently dating fellow Welshman Gethin Jones

Katherine Jenkins has responded to claims that she's become too big for her own boots.

The Welsh singing star, who admitted last week that she used to snort cocaine, is annoyed by reports that she behaves like a diva, and says it's far from the truth.

‘My mum always taught me to treat people with respect,’ Katherine tells the Daily Mail.

‘I don’t throw tantrums. I’m not grand.’

However, the 28-year-old admits she's changed since finding fame.

‘I’m more confident these days and, yes, more assertive if I have to be.’

Katherine is dating former Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones, 30, although she refuses to discuss their relationship.

‘There’s a line I think you have to draw when it comes to your personal life and which I’m not prepared to cross.’
