Victoria Beckham has been secretly training for the New York Marathon.
The fashionista has been stocking up on carbs and hitting the running machines in a bid to boost her stamina.
‘It was meant to be a big secret. She's been training for months with the main goal of running in the New York Marathon,’ a source tells Now.
‘But if she doesn't feel ready, she's planning to do the one in Los Angeles in February next year.’
Celeb chef Gordon Ramsay has also confirmed that she’s eating more because she wants to compete.
It is thought she’s determined to beat pal Katie Holmes' time when she ran the 26-mile race last year.
‘Katie finished it in 5 hours and 30 minutes,’ a pal reveals.
‘And, in a friendly spirit of competition, Posh wants to beat her time and finish within five hours.’
The New York Marathon takes place on 3 November.

I hope that Katie and Jlo give her good tips.. When are we going to see the husbands like Marc, Tom and David get involved in the marathons.! Women would love to see that happen...
Lets get the husbands involved ... Running the marathon.. Imagine seeing David Beckham.. Or Tom Cruise... It can't be a year already since Katie did her marathon.. And Jlo too
I absolutely LOVE Victoria, but I doubt there is ANY truth in this. I am a runner...and have been doing so for five years. Victoria hasn't been running that long...and if I cant make that time (and nor would I want to for increased risk of injury) then she can't. Now that's the truth.
