Enrique Iglesias: Anna Kournikova's too smart to marry me

Singer isn’t in a rush to get her down the aisle

Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have been dating for six years

Enrique Iglesias is convinced girlfriend Anna Kournikova wouldn’t be interested in marrying him.

The singer says the former tennis star, 27, doesn’t need a ring on her finger to feel content with their relationship.

‘She’s way, way too smart to want to marry someone like me,’ he says.

‘I’m not putting myself down but also I don’t think marriage is that crucial for me.’

But Enrique, 33, says there’s still time for him to change his mind.

‘I’m still young, I’m 45 and taking it easy,’ he joked on The Paul O’Grady Show.

He and Anna started dating in 2002 after she starred in the video for his single Escape.
