Strictly Come Dancing winner impresses Hollywood execs

Alesha Dixon knows how to boogie

Alesha Dixon is apparently being lined-up to star in a remake of cult flick Flashdance.

The singer is said to have impressed studio bosses in the video for her new single The Boy Does Nothing.

The original 1983 film, starring Jennifer Beals, 44, was about a downtrodden woman who follows her dream of getting into ballet school.

Alesha, 30, already has experience on the dancefloor. She won Strictly Come Dancing in 2007.

The Boy Does Nothing is available for download on 2 November.
