Former Westlife star denies he's worried about their welfare
Sunday, 2 November 2008
Brian McFadden has denied he's seeking full custody of his children, following ex-wife Kerry Katona’s shambolic appearance on This Morning.
The reality TV star shocked the nation when she began slurring her words on the ITV show last week.
Brian, 28, was reported to be concerned for the welfare of Molly, 7, and Lilly-Sue, 5 after seeing the footage.
‘Brian looked at it in complete disbelief,’ a pal told The Sun.
But the singer, who spends most of his time in Australia, says he isn't going to fight Kerry for their daughters.
'There is no basis to it, we settled custody months and months ago,' he tells The Herald Sun.
Kerry, 28, is also mum to six-month-old son Max and daughter Heidi, 20 months, with 2nd husband Mark Croft.
She strongly refutes that she was drunk during the interview with Phillip Schofield, 46, and Fern Britton, 51.

Someone needs to do something, her current husband thinks its OK to send his wife on TV in such a state, how can they be responsible for looking after kids??
Agree with Dee. Disgusting people.
It's time we laid off Kerry. She has a lousy husband and friends and family who let her down, manufacturing stories so they can sell them to papers like the News of the World. Let's show a bit of decorum and give the girl a break.
