Lindsay Lohan's dad says he's learned not to speak out through the media
Monday, 27 October 2008
Michael Lohan has apologised for speaking out about Samantha Ronson.
He was outraged when his daughter Lindsay started dating the DJ earlier this year.
And he reacted by branding Samantha a ‘dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity’.
‘I definitely regret all the things I said about Samantha,’ he tells New York magazine.
‘I'm a Christian. I should not pass judgment on anyone. In the past, I felt that the best way to get to [Lindsay] was to speak out publicly. And it was the wrong choice.
‘Family matters should be kept private. I've learned that now.’
Lindsay, 22, was first spotted with Sam, 31, at the Cannes Film Festival in June.
