Monday, 27 October 2008
Beyoncé Knowles, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Leona Lewis have all announced a November release date for their next tracks.
The 4 female singers will vie for No1 in the British charts, with 26-year-old Britney's comeback single Womanizer the favourite for the top spot.
‘We haven’t had a heavyweight chart battle like this for a while,’ HMV spokesman Gennaro Castaldo says. ‘It’s wide open but you have to fancy Britney just ahead of Leona.’
X Factor winner Leona, 23, is releasing her first up-tempo song Forgive Me, after a incredibly successful year both here and in America.
Christina, 27, is releasing track Keeps Gettin’ Better is from her greatest hits album of the same name, while 27-year-old Beyoncé has soulful ballad If I Were A Boy.
All 4 singles will be available from November 3.

BEYONCE WILL TOP THIS
I agree with Kendrick! And I mean, she SHOULD top this. I don't think Christina's song was that much of a hit for me - she was out of business for so long, but didn't deliver a hot single. Beyonce was out of business for a rather long time too (2 years) and came back with a hit single - If I Were A Boy. Beyonce is really consistent with her amazing songs. I was shocked beyond words when I hear Single Ladies for the first time. Beyonce till the end of time! We support you. ~
