Cerys Matthews and Marc Bannerman first split in February - after just 4 months together

Cerys Matthews and Marc Bannerman have parted company just months after rekindling their relationship.

The couple met on reality TV show I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in November last year.

Cerys, 39, dumped Marc in February but gave the relationship another chance over the summer when she moved into his London flat.

But the former Catatonia singer has now changed her Facebook status from ‘In a relationship’ to ‘Single’.

Marc, 35, confirmed the split but says he hopes for a reconciliation.  

‘I am as much in love with Cerys now as the day I fell for her,’ he says.

‘While we are not together, that might change. Who knows? It's complicated.’

Cerys has 2 children – Glenys Pearl, 4, and Johnny Jones, 2 – from a previous relationship,
