Cheryl Cole: Girls Aloud would not have worked with Javine Hylton

Band glad the public chose Sarah Harding for final line-up

Cheryl Cole is relieved that Javine Hylton never made it into Girls Aloud.

When the band was formed on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, the public chose Sarah Harding ahead of Javine, 26.

And Cheryl, 25, thinks it was the right choice.

‘There’s no way this band would have worked with her in it,’ she tells Attitude. ‘But even more than that, I just can’t imagine this band without Missus Hardcore here!’

Kimberley Walsh, 26, agrees. 'We really, really would not be here now. Having Javine… that alone could have made us finish.'

'She was not a team player,' Sarah, 26, adds.
