Billie Piper to stay in hospital for another week

Doctors tell new mum that she's not ready to go home yet

Billie Piper is likely stay in hospital for another 7 days, husband Laurence Fox has revealed.

The Doctor Who star gave birth to son Winston James Fox at 1am on Tuesday following an emergency Caesarean. 

Although Billie, 26, and the little one are doing well, experts at London's Portland Hospital have told her that she's not quite ready to check out. 

'The Caesarean was quite a major thing,' Laurence, 29, tells the Daily Mirror. 'She might not be ready to go home for 5 days to a week.'

Ex-husband Chris Evans, 42, has already been to visit.
