Singer's home recordings show just how far she's come
Wednesday, 22 October 2008
Early recordings of Madonna singing have been posted online.
The songs were tapped by a former housemate when she lived in the basement of a New York synagogue.
The singer’s biographer Andrew Morton posted the clip on The Daily Beast which incorporates her Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame acceptance speech from earlier this year.
‘It's sweet and raw,’ he says. ‘It signifies to me how far she has come, a reminder of the explosion of talent.’
Madonna, 50, announced her separation from husband Guy Ritchie, 40, last week.
