Dad Jamie tells court that California is no longer her main residence

Britney Spears is to quit LA, according to her dad Jamie.
The 56-year-old made the admission while representing the singer in court at her trial for driving in Hollywood without a valid state licence.
He told the judge that Britney, 26, who could face up to 6 months in jail if convicted, had not broken any rules because California is not her ‘permanent residence’.
Jamie said her ‘home is Louisiana’ and said plans are in motion for her to return there shortly, reports the Daily Star.
Her legal team says her Louisiana licence covers her for driving in California and that she’s only in the state to see her sons Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2.
It’s not all bad news for Britney, though – she is reportedly going to make a surprise appearance at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool next month.
‘Given Britney's comeback there would be no one better to attend the awards,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.
‘She's probably the biggest pop star in the world. There is a hope she will perform, but if not she could just present an award.’
