Monday, 20 October 2008
Prince William and Prince Harry have begun a charity motorcycle rally in South Africa.
The royals are joining 100 other riders to take part in The Enduro Africa 08, an 8-day ride through some very wild terrain, crossing game reserves and tribal areas.
William, 26, and Harry, 24, will help raise a total of £300,000 to help UNICEF, The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and Touch Africa - as well as children in Lesotho.
‘The Princes are looking forward to the motorcycle ride that will raise money and the profile of Sentebale, a charity very close to their hearts,’ a spokesman for the royals explains.
The Princes will be accompanied by 6 armed policemen throughout their 1,500km trip.
