Friday, 17 October 2008
Leon Jackson has revealed that he's going to have a nerve-wracking weekend.
The 19-year-old X Factor winner released his new single Don’t Call This Love on Monday and he's on tenterhooks to find out where it will chart.
‘I think that when you release music there’s bound to be pressure and it’s nerve-wracking,’ he tells Now Online.
‘At the end of the day I know I’ve put in 110% effort. There’s nothing more I can do. It’s just whether or not people take to it.’
Leon took 10 months out to make his debut album Right Now after hitting the Christmas number 1 slot with his cover of When You Believe.
‘The album is a mixture of genres,’ he says. ‘Acoustic with modern jazz.’
Right Now is out on 20 October.
