Singer's track Womanizer jumps 95 places from last week
Thursday, 16 October 2008
Britney Spears has completed her amazing transformation by hitting No 1 in America with new single Womanizer.
It's the singer's first US chart-topper since her debut single Baby, One More Time in 1999 – and broke records by becoming the highest climbing track in Billboard Hot 100 history after jumping 95 places from last week.
Meanwhile, her mum Lynne, 53, is said to be planning to turn her book Through The Storm: A Real Story Of Fame And Family In A Tabloid World into a Hollywood movie.
Actress Anna Faris, 31, is believed to be in line to play the troubled pop diva.
‘She's pitching the book around to studios,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘She even says she wants Julia Roberts to play her. It's insane!’
Womanizer is out here on 24 November.
