Actor’s rep rubbishes internet rumours of his death

Tom Cruise was the victim of a sick hoax

Tom Cruise’s spokesperson has been forced to deny reports that the Top Gun star passed away this morning.

Sick internet rumours claimed the actor had fallen off a cliff in New Zealand while filming his latest movie.

But his rep insists he’s alive and well, The Sun reports.

Tom, 46, is married to Katie Holmes, 29, with whom he has 2-year-old daughter Suri.

He also has adopted kids Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, 41.

In 2006 Tom Hanks, 52, was a victim of a similar hoax, which alleged he plummeted from the same Kauri Cliffs.
