SHOCK! David Duchovny splits from wife Tea Leoni

The X-Files star and actress spouse have been separated for a while

David Duchovny and wife Tea Leoni have been married for 10 years

David Duchovny and wife Tea Leoni are to divorce – just weeks after he completed a stint in rehab for sex addiction.

But it turns out the pair, who have been married since 1997, had split before he even checked into the facility.

‘In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months,’ reads a statement.

‘The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children.’

David, 48, and Tea, 42, are parents to daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.
