Peaches Geldof: My secret wedding was romantic

Socialite says marriage to Chester French star Max Drummey just felt 'right'

Peaches Geldof has hit back at claims she rushed into her marriage.

The socialite says her musician husband Max Drummey, 24, who she wed in a secret Las Vegas ceremony in August, is 'the one'.

‘I knew Max for a while,’ she says. ‘He was my best friend. We weren’t seeing each other at the start, then we fell into it and fell in love. It felt very natural.

‘It was one of those old-fashioned things. If you find the right person, you don’t want to let it go. I fell in love and it felt completely right.’

Peaches, 19, says the wedding has brought her and Chester French musician Max closer together.

‘We were like: “Let’s just do this because it’s romantic and we’re young and let’s be free,”’ she says.
