Louis Walsh: Dannii is not being sacked

Louis defends his 'enemy' after rumours of Sharon Osbourne comeback

Louis Walsh supports fellow judge Dannii Minogue

Since Cheryl Cole arrived on The X Factor, Dannii Minogue’s faced constant slating from critics.

But following reports that she’s set to be replaced by a returning Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh is speaking out for Dannii, 37.

‘It’s all a lie,’ says Louis, 56. ‘I never said that Sharon was coming back or that Dannii will be fired. Dannii and I may not have been the best of friends in the past, but that’s all changed.

‘Simon Cowell wouldn’t take Sharon back because he feels he’s got the balance of judges just right and the ratings are higher than when she was there.

'I do love Sharon, but I give credit to Dannii as she’s a good judge.’

A spokesman for Sharon tells Now: ‘She hasn’t spoken to anyone about returning to The X Factor. Not Simon, not Louis, not anyone.’
