Billy Bob Thornton: I will always love Angelina Jolie

Actor says she's an amazing and wonderful person

Billy Bob Thornton has admitted that he still has feelings for ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

They married in 2000 after meeting on the set of Pushing Tin.

Despite divorcing 3 years later, he says they’ll always be close.

‘She’s a wonderful person and one of my best friends,’ he says.

‘I love her. I always have, I always will. She’s an amazing person who’s endured a lot and every thought I have for her is positive.’

Billy, 53, reckons Angelina’s a great mum to her 6 kids with partner Brad Pitt, 44.

‘It’s so funny that people put her down sometimes: “Why is she having so many children?”’ he tells Metro.

‘It’s nobody’s business why she’s having so many children. If that’s what she wants to do, she has every right to.’

Angelina, 33, is mum to 3-month-old twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, daughter Shiloh, 2, and adopted kids Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3.

Billy's new film Eagle Eye is out on Friday.
