Kid Rock takes communion in back of limo

Run DMC star Reverend Run says it was an unusual experience

Reverend Run and Kid Rock are good friends

Reverend Run has revealed that he once conducted a religious ritual for Kid Rock - in a limo.

The Run DMC rapper, 43, real name Joseph Ward Simmons, is fully-ordained and served communion to the musician, 37, while they were on the road. 

'I had Kid Rock in the limousine. We were going to a show,' the Rev tells CNN.

'I pull out the communion elements. I give him communion. He says, "Reverend, I`ve done a lot of things in the back of limo. This isn't one of them."'

Reverend Run and Pamela Anderson's ex - aka Robert James Ritchie - are long-time pals.

'We pray before the Kid Rock show,' the minister confides. 'Thank God he's gotten in no trouble this year. We share a friendship.'
