Charlotte Church doesn't worry about filling out

Charlotte Church’s mum has hit out at reports she's worried about her weight.

Maria, 42, says she couldn’t care less about looking good.

‘I can’t believe what I read sometimes about Charl getting fat,’ she says. 'Of course she’s getting bigger – she’s pregnant.

'What do people think happens? It’s ridiculous. [She] doesn’t give a shit about her weight.’

Charlotte, 22 – who had daughter Ruby last August - announced she was expecting her second baby with partner Gavin Henson, 26, in June.

‘She has put on half the weight she did with Ruby,’ Maria says. 'She looks good and she loves the way she looks. So does Gav.

'The most important thing to her is to stay fit and healthy for the baby – not getting into a size 8.'

She is due to give birth in November.
