T4 presenter is smitten with his new pet

Alex Zane has revealed that he's fallen in love – with a rescue cat.
The T4 presenter adopted her from an animal centre earlier this year.
‘I went to cats' home and got the one that had been there the longest,’ he tells Now Online.
‘She's 8 years old and no one had picked her. She’d had her fur shaved on her neck because she had an overactive thyroid and had to have it removed. So no one had taken her.’
Alex – who recently came out of a relationship – says he and his kitty spend a lot of time together at home.
‘She doesn’t like other cats, she hates them,’ he says. ‘We’re both solitary creatures now.
‘Other people find it weird because when I talk to my cat I go: “And then Daddy says...” I think referring to myself as Daddy with my cat raises a few eyebrows.’
Alex, 29, hosts the new series of Orange Unsigned Act on 4Music on 30 October.
