Pal Jonathan Wilkes said to have set up reunion

Robbie Williams has been snapped hand-in-hand with Ayda Field – sparking speculation they’re getting back together.

The pair split last month over the singer’s alien obsession and work commitments.  

But Robbie’s best friend Jonathan Wilkes, 30, is said to have organised a meeting between the pair at LA’s Century City Mall to get them talking again.

‘Robbie and Ayda are not fully back together but Jonathan’s idea for them to meet in a relaxed group setting worked a blinder,’ says a source.

‘It was obvious they still cared for one another so he decided to set up a day out with him and his son Mickey. It seemed an ideal way to dial down the emotion and give them both a chance to get reacquainted, without too much pressure.’

Despite the successful hook up, Robbie, 34, and actress Ayda, 29, aren't going shopping for a a joint home.

‘They aren’t planning to buy a house together,’ the insider tells the Daily Star.

‘That might be what Robbie wants but Ayda still wants a lively social life. It was a factor in breaking them up and hasn’t been resolved.’
