Dame Shirley Bassey: Men are jealous of my success
Dame Shirley Bassey has admitted it's unlikely she’ll find love again.
The veteran singer is convinced men are intimidated by her success.
‘I’ve always been the breadwinner and many men don’t like that, even in today’s changed world,’ she tells the Daily Mail.
‘They can become jealous of the love one shares with an audience. Very few men are generous enough to accept success in their woman because we’re so terribly strong.
'We know what we want and we’re not weak and fragile. The truth is, I’ve been happily married to my profession for years.’
Dame Shirley, 71, is a 2-time divorcee and lives in Monaco by herself.
