Kelly Crabtree actress to wed Mark Flanagan

Tupele Dorgu hasn't set a date for her wedding yet

Coronation Street’s Kelly Crabtree has announced her engagement to long-term partner Mark Flanagan.

But actress Tupele Dorgu, 30, says she didn’t take the 39-year-old’s proposal seriously at first.

‘I was absolutely flabbergasted when he proposed. I didn't know what to do and I was like: “Wow, this is my proposal and this is what happens!”’ she tells Corrieblog.

‘It hit me that he didn't have a box so I was thinking: "Why has he not got a ring? He must know me well enough to know I'd want a ring!"

‘I was playing with this box of mints and I was a bit nervous. I opened the box and the ring fell out! That was when I burst into tears because I realised he had planned everything!’
