Gemma Arterton plays an MI6 spy

Gemma Arterton was a bag of nerves before locking lips with Daniel Craig in the new 007 move.

The actress - who plays Agent Fields in Quantum Of Solace – has a raunchy sex scene with the star, who plays James Bond.

‘Kissing Daniel was great – I can’t pretend it wasn’t,’ Gemma admits.

‘It was my first day on set and I’d only met him once before, and suddenly we were expected to kiss.

‘I just couldn’t get that image of him walking out of the sea in Casino Royale out of my head.’

But Gemma, 22, says Daniel, 40, didn't bat an eyelid.

‘He was very cool and I was a giggling mess,’ she tells the Mail On Sunday.

‘I mumbled something like, “I just kissed you!” and he he just said, “Yes you did. And now we have to do it again.”

'Fortunately, he’s an incredible kisser.’

Quantum Of Solace is released on the 31 October.
