But TV couple say the experience put them off drugs
Sunday, 12 October 2008
Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan have admitted they smoked cannabis during their college days.
But both say they didn’t enjoy the experience.
‘I smoked it a couple of times but it didn’t do anything for me,’ Judy, 60, tells The Sun. ‘I’ve never tried any other drugs. I’ve never felt the need.’
Richard, 52, says they’ve taught their children Chloe, 20, and Jack, 22, about the dangers of the Class C substance.
‘I didn’t like it,’ he tells The Sun. ‘And I’ve never tried any other drugs as I’ve got an addictive personality. I was seriously addicted to cigarettes for years so I always assumed that if I tried drugs, I’d be instantly hooked. I’d be a junkie.
‘Both our kids are incredibly anti-drugs. They have friends that do them but they actively discourage it.’

Big deal, nearly everyone tried marijuana, but only idiots keep smoking it.
