Sir Paul McCartney attacks 'Heather Mills lies' on new album

Macca expresses his disappointment about ex wife on Electric Arguments

A fashion clash from the beginning?
Sir Paul McCartneyhas moved new love Nancy Shevell into his Sussex home

Sir Paul McCartney is said to have included a series of thinly-veiled swipes at ex-wife Heather Mills on his latest album Electric Arguments.

The couple’s divorce was finalised in May and until now Macca has not spoken about the break-up.

But on the track Nothing Too Much, Just Out Of Sight, which Paul has recorded under the pseudonym The Fireman, he sings about how he was deceived by a former flame.

'You said you love me / But was it true? / The last thing to do was to lie about me silently,’ he sings.

‘I remember you well / Oh woman betrayed you / I couldn’t resist you when I made you.’

Another song, Don't Stop Running, is thought to refer to the fact that Paul, 66, has moved on from Heather, the Daily Mail reports.

The veteran rocker also writes about new love Nancy Shevell, 47, on ballad Lifelong Passion.

Heather, 40, was awarded a £24.3million settlement for the 4-year-marriage.

Electric Arguments is released on 17 November.
