Richard and Judy sign up daughter for new show

Couple defend rumours of nepotism as they hire Chloe Madeley

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan have hired their daughter Chloe to present a slot in their new programme.

The couple have signed up the 21-year-old blonde to front a celebrity gossip section named Chloe’s Angels on show New Position.

‘She’s keen on doing it,’ Richard, 52, tells the Daily Record. ‘It would be a slot in which she and 2 of her mates would report from the red carpet or a showbiz do.

‘It’ll be funny for us to say: ‘Now with this report is Chloe Madeley.”’

Richard – who has been married to Judy, 60, for 22 years – hit back at claims of nepotism, insisting his daughter has earned the right to be there.

‘Chloe’s sensitive to the accusation,’ he says. ‘But she’s done TV stuff on her own before [such as] Big Brother’s Big Mouth, which has nothing to do with us.’

Richard And Judy’s New Position stars next Tuesday at 8pm on Watch.
