Glamour model blames family for her split with Manchester United footballer

Nereida Gallardo has spoken out about her relationship with footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Spanish model began dating the Manchester United star in January after they met in a nightclub in Palma.
But Nereida, 24, was left heartbroken when he dumped her by text 7 months later.
‘I was upset by the way he finished the relationship, which to me seems 100 per cent cowardly,’ she says. ‘He is very immature.’
And she reckons the reason for their sudden split was down to his mum Dolores.
‘There were some problems with his family as they were a little jealous,’ she tells a Spanish TV show.
‘He's very manipulated by his mother and she was always very protective towards him, which is normal. But she never called me to try to sort things out.
'I was faithful throughout our relationship but I'm not sure about him. I found text messages in Spanish one day on his mobile phone that made me suspicious.'
Cristiano, 23, has since been linked to a string of beauties including FHM model Niki Ghazian, 24, and Italian TV presenter Letizia Filippi, 30.
