Couple end their four month romance

Ex-footballer Lee Sharpe proposed to Lucie Gardener just four weeks after meeting her

Lee Sharpe and Lucie Gardner have called off their engagement.

The pair announced they planned to wed just weeks after meeting in a London nightclub in June.

But friends say the romance fizzled out when she moved in with him.

‘After a few weeks of normal life up in Leeds, the cracks began to show,’ an insider tells the Sunday Mirror.

She has now returned to London.

Former Manchester United star Lee, 37, previously dated Abi Titmuss, 32.
