The Police and Beyonce Knowles head music rich list

The Police reunited for a world tour

The Police have topped a list of music's highest earners.

The group led by Sting, 56, made a staggering £57.5million in the last 12 months.

Second-placed Beyonce Knowles, 27, trailed by £14.3million; banking £43.2million.

Justin Timberlake, 27, was 4th in the Forbes list and Madonna, 50, was 5th.

Celine Dion, 40, and Gwen Stefani, 30, also featured in the poll.
