Amy Winehouse sent £25k bill for damaged dresses

Singer said to have ruined outfits loaned by posh store Harvey Nichols

Amy Winehouse recently auctioned one of her dresses for charity, raising £2,000

Amy Winehouse has reportedly been billed £25,000 by Harvey Nichols after she was sick on designer frocks it lent her.

The department store is thought to have loaned the dresses ahead of London Fashion Week.

But when Amy, 25, returned them they were apparently splattered with vomit.

‘Harvey Nichols loaned Amy £25,000s worth of silk and satin dresses,’ says a source. ‘Unfortunately, while wearing one of them, she was violently sick. Let’s just say it wasn’t pretty.

‘She eventually couriered them back, but didn’t wrap them separately. So sick had got on all the clothes, making them unwearable,’ the source tells the Daily Mirror.

'I doubt Amy will be sent any more designer gear for a while and the store has now asked for its £25k back.’
