Insiders claim the actors are both vying for lead in remake of My Fair Lady
Thursday, 25 September 2008
George Clooney and Brad Pitt are said to be at loggerheads over a forthcoming movie.
The actors, who have been friends for years, apparently can’t come to an agreement over who should play Henry Higgins in movie remake of My Fair Lady. And the row has got so bad that the pair are not even talking.
'We both badly want a particular role and neither is backing down,’ George, 47, is said to have told pals, Metro reports.
‘It's sort of become an intense competition between us now and it just keeps escalating.'
It's said that Brad, 44, has been fixated with the story since he was a child and is determined to win the part.
And he wants partner Angelina Jolie, 33, to star alongside him as Eliza Doolittle.
My Fair Lady was originally released in 1964.
