Singer is kept in overnight for observation

DMX is being treated in hospital for a mystery illness.
The rapper, 37, was due in court yesterday on charges of drug possession and animal cruelty.
But he was taken to a medical centre in Florida on Monday night and kept in for observation.
‘It was serious enough for him to be brought and taken into a treatment facility,’ said his lawyer Bradford Cohen tells Billboard.com.
‘He spent the night there last night and he will probably spend tonight there as well.
'I don't think it's going to be an ongoing thing or a life-threatening situation. He's going to be alright.’
DMX, real name Earl Simmons, is expected to attend the next hearing, which has been rescheduled for 29 September.
He has pleaded not guilty to mistreating a pack of dogs and guilty to attempting to buy marijuana and cocaine.
