Lindsay Lohan is said to have bought a stunning £2.5million penthouse for herself and DJ pal Samantha Ronson.
The 22-year-old actress has long yearned for a place in the exclusive Dakota building in New York.
‘Lindsay’s had her eye on the Dakota building for years,’ a source tells the News Of The World.
‘It’s an iconic building and she plans to make it a hotbed for parties.’
John Lennon used to live in the iconic apartment block and was killed on the steps into the building in 1980.
Meanwhile, it's been reported that Lindsay's dad Mike, 48, has banned Sam, 31, from attending his forthcoming wedding.
