Jade Goody: I banned my sons from visiting me

Reality TV star didn't want her kids to see her in pain

Jade Goody is soon to start chemo and radiotherapy

Jade Goody has revealed that she refused to let her children visit her in hospital following her hysterectomy 10 days ago.

The reality TV star underwent an 8-hour operation to remove a cancerous growth in her womb.

But she was desperate to put on a brave face, telling Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4, that she had a ‘bad stomach’.

‘I’m in a lot of pain. I’ve got to wait to hear the exact treatment I need,’ she tells the News Of The World from her hospital bed.

‘The perfect result would have been that they’ve got it all, but we don’t know for sure yet if they have.’

Jade, 27, missed Freddie's birthday celebrations last Thursday, leaving it up to the boys' dad Jeff Brazier, 29, to make a fuss.

‘Jade's spoken to [the boys] several times and was able to wish Freddie a happy birthday and tell them she loves them,’ Jeff says.

The Big Brother star finally saw the boys on Saturday, spending an hour chatting to them as they played beside her bed.

She is expected to remain in the Royal Marsden Hospital for a few more days before starting an intensive course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
