Lily Cole to pose for Playboy

Model will be seen wearing nothing but a pair of socks

Lily Cole is best known for the Marks & Spencer ad campaign

Lily Cole is to bare all for the French edition of men's magazine Playboy.

In the shots the 20-year-old model will be seen holding a teddy bear and wearing nothing but white socks.

Lily will grace the cover and appear in a 14-page feature.

Tabloids have claimed her contract with Marks & Spencer would be in jeopardy if she goes through with the snaps.

But the retail chain insists it will stick by her.

'It's entirely her own choice as to what other work she accepts and we would not wish to interfere with her career,' a spokesman tells the Daily Mail.
