Twiggy: I liked being flat-chested

Model says she'd never consider having a boob job

Twiggy says models need to be individual to get noticed

Twiggy has revealed that she's always loved her beanpole figure.

The model has filled out a bit with age, but she says had boob jobs been commonplace when she was younger she would not have been tempted to boost her bust.

‘Absolutely not! I much preferred not having breasts,’ she says. ‘I’ve got them now because of my age.

‘I’ve had these for about 10 years – I certainly wouldn’t want them getting any bigger!’

Twiggy, 59, says she doesn’t mind ageing.

‘I don’t understand people getting depressed about growing older,’ she tells You magazine.

‘It doesn’t mean you have to give up on style and individuality; it doesn’t mean abandoning fashion and living in comfy slippers and flannel knickers.’

Twiggy is one of the faces of Marks & Spencer, alongside Erin O’Connor and Lily Cole.
