Actress has enjoyed being off the big screen

Meg Ryan says she’s loved being out of the spotlight for the past few years.
The star shied away from the media after her affair with Russell Crowe in 2000.
She was married to actor Dennis Quaid, 54, at the time.
‘It’s a very big surprise in life when you learn that not everyone is rooting for you,’ she tells S magazine.
‘It’s a very scary thing when you figure that out.’
‘I took some time off. I think it’s great being less famous.'
Meg, 46, appears in The Women alongside Eva Mendes and Debra Messing.
But she says her days in the limelight may be numbered.
‘I think when Hollywood’s done with me, I will probably have been done with it a little sooner.’

Why if this woman likes being out of the spotlight, does she agree to an interview about the issue? Sounds to me that she is craving for gossip and meaningless headlines about her latest shopping trip and hoping this strategy might work for her
