Ronnie Wood's wife is overcoming heartache

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood and Jo Wood have been married for over 20 years

Jo Wood has spoken for the first time about her marriage woes.

The ex-model's husband Ronnie Wood fled to his Irish bolthole with Russian Ekaterina Ivanova, 20, in July.

The Rolling Stones guitarist then spent time in rehab before moving into a London flat.

‘I’m enjoying my new freedom,’ Jo tells The Sun. ‘I’m a lucky woman. I’ve got so much love and support.

'I don’t have to put a brave face on. I’ve got my kids that love me, my family and my friends.’

Jo took to the catwalk at Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief show on Wednesday.

Looking confident, she wowed crowds in a vintage gold gown at the Natural History Museum event before heading to London nightspot Bungalow 8.

‘I think I’ve come up trumps,’ she adds. ‘This is me. Thanks for all the support. Bring it on.’
