Penelope Cruz: I don't think I'm anything special

Actress doesn't look in the mirror and say "wow"

Penelope Cruz is dating Javier Bardem

Penelope Cruz admits she's not that impressed by her looks.

The actress, who regularly appears in sexiest women lists, insists she's just average.

'I don't think I'm anything special,' she says. 'I mean I don't look at the mirror and say "Wow!" or anything.'

But Penelope, 34, says she will happily sex up her image for the right role.

'As an actress, I have a face that can change a lot, and I try to put that in the character I am playing,' she tells Hello!

'If I'm playing a character who is described as attractive, then I try to create that image.

'But that's just about work - I leave my ego at home.'
