Actor says everyone has the right to wed

Brad Pitt has handed over £50,000 to help fight California’s Proposition 8 - a campaign to ban same-sex unions.
‘No one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it,’ Brad said in a statement.
‘Because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8.’
Brad’s generous donation is said to be the largest handed over by an A-list celeb.
And political strategist Chad Griffin hopes this will encourage others to take a stand.
‘It is our hope that others in the entertainment industry will step up and match Brad Pitt’s heroic commitment to quality and defeating Prop 8,’ he said.
Brad, 45, has previously said he won’t wed partner Angelina Jolie, 33, until everyone who wants to be married is legally able.
