Steven Gerrard: I couldn't handle another daughter!

Footballer says he's already ganged up on at home by wife Alex Curran and their 2 girls

Steven Gerrard and Alex Curran have been together for 6 years

Steven Gerrard says that he's keen to have a baby boy to balance out his all-girl family.

The Liverpool footballer has 2 daughters – Lilly-Ella, 4, and Lexie, 2 – with wife Alex Curran.

But he says he couldn’t imagine having another female in the house.

‘We’ve spoken about having another [baby],’ the 28-year-old says. ‘Although the idea of having another girl… I couldn’t live with 4!'

But 25-year-old Alex says she's happy to wait before trying for any more children.

‘We’ve settled on the fact that further down the line we might have another one,’ she tells OK!. ‘But for the time being we’re fine.’

The couple married last June at Cliveden House in Buckinghamshire.
