Cheryl Cole: I've learnt not to discuss my marriage

Cheryl Cole took her wedding ring off husband Ashley was accused of cheating

Cheryl Cole has revealed that she regrets being so open about her relationship with her footballer husband Ashley.

The X Factor judge was left devastated after claims he cheated on her.

So now she’s determined to keep their personal life out of the public eye.

‘I spoke openly about my marriage in the past and it’s come back to hit me in the face,’ she tells chat show host Jonathan Ross.

‘I've learnt from the past that you shouldn’t do that.’

But Cheryl, 25 - who once said she’d never forgive Ashley, 27, if he cheated - says everyone makes mistakes.

‘There’s something about celebrities having a perfect life,’ she says. ‘People need to realise we’re human too.’
